This is a legendary song in the Bengali folklore. This song came out in the early 1950s in order to encourage the newly independent citizens into nation building, which at that time was predominantly an agarian society at that time.

"dhitang dhitang bole" is an evergreen song and recently kolkata music director Jeet Ganguly remake this song with popular singer Armaan Malik. This is the Armaan Malik first Bengali Song and it's features by Dev and Nusraat faria.
